Weather‑Related Walk Schedule Update
It was agreed at the recent meeting that if the weather forecast for Sunday is unfavourable for the planned walks, and Saturday’s conditions appear suitable, the walk may be moved to Saturday. This decision will be made at the discretion of the walk leader. Keep an eye here & on WhatsApp group text for any changes to schedule.

- All Thursday walks will be “C” walks, usually 2-3 hours duration and mainly on low hills or forest tracks
- Participants will meet at the standard meeting point in the carpark of the Village Bar, Rathgormack at 10am for car pooling
- Some option for a coffee stop during / after the walk will be organised where feasible
- Walk leaders will communicate the details of the walk on the WhatsApp group chat to Rathgormack Rambler members on the Monday before the walk
- If there is any change to the standard meeting point this will also be communicated via the WhatsApp group chat to Rathgormack Rambler members.

- To facilitate better walk planning, it is IMPERATIVE that members inform the relevant leader by text or WhatsApp of their intention to walk no later than the Friday night before the walk.
